Funny how most people forget the Witcher universe, even these spin-off video game series are supposed to be morally grey, it doesn't matter who you choose out of the two, neither of them are the embodiment of any ideal image, each of them may posses certain traits which people project into idealised images, but that's it. Both characters are morally grey with highs and lows, so spare me the saintly image each "team" projects unto their preferred character. As far as the games are concerned, they are spin-off series which are non-canon which was made self-evident by CD Projekt, so all this uptight people making claims about what others should choose or shouldn't choose because "Canon" makes no sense at all, the choices presented to you come down to personal preference; whether you want to take into account the events of the books or dismiss them completely comes down to personal preference, not a cosmic immutable law of "canon".
