How did we get to the moon? well, because the people who built the things which went to the moon used math to help them make their decisions, precisely because they knew people are terrible at making decisions. It only takes a few hundred people making good decisions to build a rocket and put it on the moon. The rest of everyone can still be going around and making terrible decisions. Humanity didn't accomplish the feat of landing on the moon: a group of scientists did. good for them; but it's kinda stupid for the rest of us to take responsibility for something which we had no part in.

Bernoulli was Swiss, not Dutch.

1:40 That's not always true. That's only true for a risk neutral player. A player who is really risk averse may still elect not to play. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Risk_aversion

Well the most important decision is invest in health. With out your health nothing else matters. The mind has to live somewhere. People die from bad habits. Mainly cigarettes and alcohol and street drugs. Relationships are very dangerous because if you don't know what kind of baggage the new people in your life might bring. Remember that most people that are murdered are by some one very close to them. The victim know there killers very well so relationship if not careful could be costly. As far as planing for retirement. Well don't you think that with the US being 25 trillion dollars in debt you better hold on to your day job or be healthy. The best way to make a decision is look at all the angles first try to make offensive decision with defensive consequences if you don't make the offensive objective. In every decision your dealing with two components What your mind wants to happen and what the physical environment restrictions are.

I'm not sure I understand the stereo example. Surely driving across town and spending only a few dollars on gas is cheaper than the alternative?

Good and bad are subjective, and each individual has his/her own definition of what good or bad is, I think.

THAT CHAP ON 31 MINS WAS AWESOME.NOTE ALSO THAT TERROR LIVES WITHIN US ALL ALWAYS UNTIL THEY KILL US BUT WE RARELY WORRY UNTIL A CERTAIN BRIEF OUTBREAK. EXAMPLE VIRUS AND BACTERIA. WE MAY ONE DAY TREAT THE HUMAN TERRORIST LIKE VIRUSES AND JUST TRY TO CONTAIN AND STOP THEM FROM MUTATING IN A WRONG WAY! INJECT THEM WITH ANTI VIRUS (TERRORISTS) TO LIVE AMONGST THEM (THAT IS MUTANTS THAT WILL CORRUPT THEIR NETWORK AND PUT THEM INTO DISARRAY)

That was not a Big Mac. It might have been some sort of crispy chicken sandwich, but Big Mac it is not.

Very scientific mind and speech, for sure it works when the equations is applied.
