Cheating is a tough topic to get behind. What if you and me were to 1v1 in halo.
example...
I'm a rich kid with lots of free time and money to burn. I get to play the game ALL the time. I got a bad ass monitor that's pretty much perfect for what pros play on. Bad ass turtle beaches headset. I live in a area with good internet. I pay for a T1 internet connection. I pull host like crazy. I got a controller or mouse and keyboard that's state of the art for pro gaming. I got excellent surround sound and a comfy ass gaming chair.
You're a poor walmart internet connection kid. You work as a dishwasher and need to smoke bud to get over how shitty your life is. Your head set doesn't work because your dog chewed it up because he's hungry because you can barely afford to feed him properly. You live in some shitty south american country where walking the streets can easily result in you being kidnapped. Your hands don't play games as smoothly as they could because of how hard you have to work every day. Your TV has a back on it lol. Your controller or mouse and keyboard is old and not very precise.
Doesn't sound like a very fair match up to me. I might as well be cheating lol. -
Good video. The answer is simple though. It's fun lol. Sure it's frustrating to those who are not cheating but that's gaming brotha!

I used to play around with cheats back in a few multiplayer games. As long as the barrier for entry was low, and the risk was low-medium, cheating seemed more like a temporary way to get more value out of the game.
The problem is, modern multiplayer games are getting more and more competitive. In other words, having a good time in multiplayer games is starting to correlate more and more to denying the opponent players of fun. Rainbow 6, for example, has an incredibly annoying death notification and no respawns. Similarly, uneven matches of overwatch have the same effect, resulting in little to no enjoyment if you're on the losing side. I don't personally hate losing. If there is to be a winner, then there has to be losers. Tough. But I hate when you can't give a game you're all because the enemy has such a massive gain on you.
The games you once enjoyed and payed real money for start to have no more value. Especially games without single player or cooperative content. Thus, you turn to cheating to flip off the overly aggressive community. -
Codebreaker on PS2 was so much fun

It's fun.

I've been using cheats and console commands after recently beating the original Half Life and wanting to experiment with the engine. I could activate 3rd person camera, godmode, noclip, all weapons, etc., and just playing in 3rd person alone really breathes new life into the game. I'll have to start trying it with other games in the future, like DOOM

I don't fucking understand why losers on mw2 too still cheat to this day? they are already max level why do they feel the need to aimbot huh?
-
I prefer cheating in dead games (tf2) or popular with lazy devs (*cough csgo). Would never cheat in overwatch. Tho' i wouldn't really say I'm bad. Currently a strong Diamond in Overwatch. In csgo i did reach global with cheats. Had a knife so noone suspected anything. Point is: Don't cheat in games with passionate or just amazing devs. (or at all) but in shittty game or games with crapy devs its all game boei. Not all cheaters are bad players, most of them are tho'

I cheat in a few single player games my first run of dark souls ever I cheated Infinite health and beat it then having a way better understanding of mechanics with out all the stress of dying over and over I beat the whole series without it but that first run helped me learn to parry and roll correctly if you get hit you still stagger so it was helpful for me

Your content is outstanding and stands out from other gaming channels.

but hey, thats just a theory...

I cheated before, but it was never really enjoyment. Battlefield it was more of "I don't care about this game anymore". Thankfully I wasn't permanently banned. And I completely stopped hacking. In every game.
Also, what do you mean you can't rebuy a copy of overwatch? Do they trace your IP or computer? And you can't do it there? I seriously have no idea on how that would work. -
I'm really bad at first player shooter games, and it really depends if I'm either cheating, or if I'm just on the good side of luck.
-
aside from all the GTAs, i had my friend use god mode on MW2 spec ops with me so we could beat it on veteran. Snatch and Grab was a bitch and i was an achievement whore
-
Yes but there's games that have exploits in them that could be cheating a example of this is any infinite money glitch in any online game, should players that found a bug that the developers could've easily patched get banned?
-
In this "SP cheats good, MP cheats bad" spectrum, where does co-op games fit in? I use mods in a co-op multiplayer game to rectify my problems with the game. (Example: there is power that throws out a multitude of grenades, but their flight path is erratic, making hitting enemies inconsistent. So I doubled the grenade count, and halved their individual damage.) Also, because how hosting works in this game, most of the mods also apply to the other players.

i code hacks and sell them for money i make sure they're undetected by the AC system, i love doing this as a hobby.

I don't get cheating. If you cheat to be better than others, what's the point? You still know you're cheating and aren't really that good.
