This man just reworded Malcolm Gladwell's book with the intention of proffiting from it. the first 20 hours huh. I wonder if that's how long it took this guy to get this good at copyright infringement. Outliers for dummies would have been better but that's too obviously a piggyback. I guess g-well's book was so good that a man can make a good enough living to raise a family just by telling people not to let Outliers scare them and just break the 10 000 hours down to 20 hours at a time, wait I'm pretty sure mr Gladwell talks about that in Outliers as well.

I watched this video about 2 years ago and it gave me the inspiration to learn to sing. I remember going out into my garage in the winter and singing horribly for hours on end. A lot has happened since then. Now I've played over 50 gigs and am improving more and more every day! :)

Did you play guitar before? Were there other skills that carried over? Guitar hero? I think skill-carryover is an often overlooked aspect of skill acquisition. I am a trained linguist and learn languages easily but a Gamer will pick up some new (1st person?) games much faster than me because they have spent so much of the requisite 10,000 hrs in other games with a high R^2, or correlation coefficient to that specific type of game/activity.
