There's a glitch exactly like this one but I've only tried it on the iPad version as of yet but if you place a chest and put something in it then spawn the golem boss on it, it deletes the blocks underneath the chest allowing for you to clone chests. I have not seen this anywhere else and first found it only a few months ago.

i accidentally triggered a glitch on my phone like 1 year ago, i placed a door next to a chest, opened the door, and the chest would keep getting destroyed and replaced like in the video
