lol try this: first go shop and put expensive item there then put my iytems or something i cant remember then press buy and u got the money but not the wep/armor/spell

Yeah,happened to me on the same version,but my strength didn't increase though,only the damage glitch.

Oh yeah! I also got this one somehow... My strengh leveled up to NaN (not a number) then do the same like this. This is VERY rare as I only get this one time. I think this only work for version 1.2.1
