Pokémon Yellow - The less known 'Master Ball' trick!

In Pokémon Red, Blue and Yellow, there's this little known 'Master Ball' trick. I call it less known because I have seen few outside of people I knew as a kid whom knew about this. It's performed by pressing and holding Down + B (from my testing) right at the second the pokéball opens. I know, I know these aren't legendaries nor are they high level ones, but I figured if enough people claim that this is a hoax or something, then I can go ahead later on and make a sequel to this and get more subscribers and eventually rule the youtube world! Also, I made this video to tease my friend who said that it doesn't work x3 PS. Sound desynch, deal with it. Not a too-serious video anyway! PSS. 2015-05-02 Video now has 20, 507 views. Most people have reported that it works, as it does work. Yet the video has 27 likes vs 40 dislikes...

ok I am not one to comment, but I am playing yellow version right now. and have thrown 52 ultra balls at this Damn zapdose and I watched this select b trick first ultra ball I threw caught it.

The other day I purchased Pokemon Yellow for my 3DS celebrating 20 years of Pokemon. I got to the stage in the game where I came across Zapdos. I got Zapdos down to the red health and threw Ultra Balls at it. I threw at least 20 Ultra Balls and they all missed Zapdos. I seeked help, came to this video, and used what is recommended. As soon as the Pokeball or any ball opens in that second before it closes and tries to catch the Pokemon, I held down on the dpad and B and it caught Zapdos without fail, first time. This video may have more dislikes than likes but it truly did help and 100% worked for me personally.

Dude! my friends and I held down + b as kids! I have no idea where we heard about it, bit I always swore it worked! Like 90% of the time!

I remember hearing about this from a kid at summer camp back in like 1999 and then getting pissed because I couldn't get it to work. I've had a pretty good catch rate since doing this, but I'm still not 100% convinced it's not just luck.
