Modern Warfare 2: Cheat mode and Cheats!

To do enable cheat mode you must edit a game file. Make a backup before doing this. Go to your Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 file. For Steam users you may find it at Program Files - Steam - Steamapps - Common - Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 If you did not buy it through Steam and cannot find it there check Program Files - Activision - Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2. Using a text editor, such as notepad, open config.cfg in the "Players" directory of the Modern Warfare 2 folder. At the end of the file add: seta thereisacow "1337" Then you may bind the cheats to any key by adding this after: bind [key] [ cheat ] The cheats are: god - God Mode notarget - Invisible to enemies give ammo - Gives you ammo noclip - Enables noclipping Once this is done and the file has been saved, right click it and set the file to be a read only file in the properties. Once you start a new game, or select a mission from the mission select menu, hit the key that you have binded to a cheat. The cheats may also be used in Spec Ops missions. These will only work in the single player campaign. NOTE: The only way to know if the cheat works is by trying it out. I'd like to use cheats like i did in MW 1 after completing the game just for the kicks and fun, but these don't work on me for some reason, anyway, here's c&p what i wrote, correct me if they are wrong:

Nice guide! BTW I bough the fucking game I can do with it what I want. You bought yours you do want you want. I don't online cheat but single player I will do the fallowing: Cheat Edit use a trainer (last resort) make a trainer I have end stage renal failure and am not to have that much stress. That y I had to give up online gaming. I miss it alot! But it is none of your f_cking business what I do in single player mode. You must have a trash life to get that pissed off about games.
