pls put the special stats 182,183 and 184 into the list because those are the only ones that don't have an invalid sprite pointer.
-
does it only work for yellow or does it work for red and blue too.
-
I managed to do the glitch but I did it in silph Corp in saffron city and I get missingno inside the Corp. only problem I'm having is at the end when I need to fly out to make the game go back to normal. I used an escape because I can't use fly inside a building but escape rope just freezes the game.

He shouldn't had caught missno
-
Can you save right before the battle with missing no?
-
seems legit
-
3:56 why this specific spot?!?!?! there's so much info on this fucking glitch and it all contradicts itself! where do I have to go to complete this glitch!?
-
who would need more than one master ball!??! what you DO need is nuggets since porygon is so fucking expensive!
-
what is this only place to encounter wild ditto shit?! I CAUGHT my ditto in the unknown dungeon! yesterday!!!
-
Dang the massigno cry stays more than 7 min what should i do? I have the 3ds version
-
Can this be done more than once?
-
but you can get a Ditto in Cerulean cave
-
does this not work on the 3ds versions? I just did this all exactly and at 3:50, the start menu didn't automatically open :/
-
I tried the glitch out, and it gave me a Tauros instead of Missingno. :/
-
do we have to kill it or capture it

Just some points to help people using this video. It's fine since it dupes two items at once, but there are a few refinements:
1.) You don't need to chance crashing the game if you use a special of 182, 183, or 184 for Ditto, as these MissingNo. are always stable in Yellow..
2.) A level 100 Nidoking that you can get in Viridian Forest can conveniently have a special in this range. Look up the "lvl 100 Gengar before Brock" tutorials to see how to do it, but use wild lvl 4 Rattatas as your last battle before reentering the Forest until you get a Nidoking for the encounter.
3.) You don't have to win against another trainer to get your menu back, ever.. You can lose on purpose so they are still available for more duping, or use the PC -> soft reset method which is faster anyway and doesn't need another trainer except the one you Fly/Dig/Teleport/Escape Rope from.
4.) To do the PC soft reset, no matter where your Fly trainer is, make sure you go to Pewter when escaping to set up the glitch. Walk into the Poke Center and access the PC. Your menu doesn't work but you can still use it. Change boxes to save, then soft reset your console/emulator to return to title. After loading back in, walk out and talk to the guy that takes you to the museum if you tell him "No" in Pewter. This does the same thing as fighting another trainer but no loss of the trainer or money, and it's faster. Now when you return to the area with the Fly trainer, the last pokemon you've seen in battle (wild or trainer) will use its special to determine the yield.
5.) At this point continue on with the Ditto part of the glitch like normal, using your special 182-184 pokemon as the transform target. Make sure you bring along escape ropes or a pokemon with Dig, as fighting anything else before you get back to the Fly trainer's route will overwrite the special stored and screw it up.
This only dupes one item at a time, but eliminates the random hassle of crashing on MissingNo entirely and wasted time going to/fighting another trainer, especially if the only trainers your have left are the E4 -_- The only frustrating part of this is the Ditto encounter rate in Cinnabar mansion, which can be really trolly sometimes. -
thanks for the tips, i needed it for stacking my master ball
-
This is interesting and all... but I'd rather just use Stadium 2 and trade from RB tbh or use a gameshark (esp on emulator).
-
how do you switch the masterball with the rare candy?
But yeah, the glitch works on 3DS also guys ! Thanks for the video !
