Mega Man Legends (or Rockman DASH in Japan) is a sub-series of the Mega Man franchise. Legends was the first major 3D title in the franchise, and was initially released on the PlayStation. A Nintendo 64 port was, but it was renamed as Mega Man 64 in the west. Mega Man Legends was followed by the prequel The Misadventures of Tron Bonne and a sequel titled Mega Man Legends 2. Mega Man Legends 1 & 2 and Chrono Cross are the primary reasons I still use my PS1 console. I could retire it if my PS2 would still play PS1 games, but age has gotten the better of it.

Wowee, I can really see the similarities between the art of the cancelled MM Legends 3 and the new Monster Hunter STORIES. It's a wonderful art style Capcom has thankfully held on to~

I think MML3 got cancelled because of two things
1. Inafune leaving and making Mighty Number Shit
2. Vocal Classic fans bashing the Legends series.
