How To Do The Mew Glitch in Pokemon Yellow (WORKS IN 3DS!) ~ EARLY and EASY method with commentary

Mew glitch worked for since 9 years: No Cheats involved, this is PURELY 100% GLITCH AND NOT A CHEAT. Can be done on original pokemon yellow cartridge on gameboy colour. Requirements: -Have reached Cerulean City(so you need to have the first badge) -Have an Abra with teleport(kadabra and alakazam would work you only need a pokemon that has teleport pretty much, an abra can be found in route 5(I believe) so you have about 15% chance of meeting one there). - Must not have defeated the swimmer in the cerulean gym or the Jr.Trainer west of the nugget bridge(the one that says I saw your feet from the grass!) - Must have defeated all 5 trainers of the Nugget bridge AND the team rocket dude that gives you the reward. Step 1: Heal your pokemon at Cerulean City pokemon center. Step 2: Walk north, on the Nugget bridge, go west and make sure the Jr.Trainer is directly south of where you are. Step 3: Save the Game.(save state aswell if your on vba) Step 4:Walk 1 step south and press START AUTOMATICALLY after!!!! Step 5: Go to the pokemon tab and teleport with your abra. Step 6: Go east, to the pokemon gym and defeat the swimmer. Step 7: Go back to the Nugget bridge, the menu would work again and after a few steps on it, it would open by itself. Prepare yourself by saving the game and organising your pokemon, healing them etc. Step 8: When your ready, close the menu and a battle would appear, a wild Mew would have appeared. Tips for the Fight: -Use thunder wave at the beggining(helps a lot with the capture rate) -Use an extremely weak pokemon to damage mew and do NOT use an attack that can put him to confusion. - Only start using pokeballs when he gets below mid-health. If the mew is sent to the PC when you caught it the game will freeze (which means yo did it wrong, there was supposed to be one empty slot in your pokemon party) But what happens when you catch Mew, transfers to your party, but THEN transport it to the PC?

Thanks for the guide. For those of you plying Yellow, go see Bill then go to route 5 to catch Abra. Then you can proceed with catching Mew.

To get the mew to level 1, you must growl at the shelder of the trainer you fight in the gym 6 times, in doing so that will make mew lvl 1. Similar to the level 100 nidoking glitch.
