I'm not sure if you'd have the equipment for such a thing, but have you ever thought of doing a video about old storage standards like MFM, ESDI, and SCSI?

In Japan back in the 1980s, television stations were paired with an FM radio station. After the watershed hour of 9pm, they would start showing movies, often foreign ones. The soundtrack broadcast through television were often dubbed with Japanese dialog. But if you switched to the corresponding FM radio station, you would hear the original dialog in glorious FM fidelity. There was one television show back in this time, I can't remember if it was for the MSX or the SORD, but while they did their show, they would play the computer code over their FM station. All you had to do was record it on your tape deck and then plug the cassette into your computer. This was probably the coolest thing I had ever experienced growing up, aside from the Minitel terminals that they had in France.

So, curious kids made the first dubstep by playing C64 datatapes back in their boombox.

I don't recall if my Radio Shack cassette player had a tone control, but I was excited to get it for my TI-99 4/A, but after a year or so I was getting tired of it and when I got my C64 and 1541 disc drive was a revelation.

If your azimuth alignment was off, turbo tape loaders could be a nightmare. We had to buy an alignment kit (where you stick a screwdriver in the hole in the top of the 1530) to align it properly.
