7. Spanish 1, I could never remember "buscar" - to look for. So I told myself "you look for things in a bus-car" which doesn't even make sense but now it's the most familiar verb I know

13. Moved to the UAE in August to teach second grade. My second graders really want me to learn Arabic so I'm working at it :) they always like to correct me when I'm wrong lol.
14. Hello, I am a mix race with Russian, Mexican, and American.
    I've been learning the Russian language for a month now and I keep struggling trying to memorize grammar, vocabulary, verbs, nouns, adjectives,etc.
    So I am looking for a native Russian speaker to teach me how to properly learn the Russian langauge.

15. Where I live people learn 12 years English at school and they can't even reach the desired level if they don't go to an academy.
16. I speak 4 languages, I did not do much for it, I just had to, as nobody spoke english in the countries I went living at the time, so you learn very fast that way. However, one time, when my Italian language was still not that good , I worked in Amsterdam The Netherlands (where I come from) and had to do a guided tour to a whole class of Italian kids about diamonds. I learned the tour talk about the creation of diamonds and all that regarded the topic in Italian in order to make it understandable for native Italians.
    The class was about 25 teenagers big and I went to stand on a chair in order to see them all and started explaining. All of a sudden, these kids started laughing at me because of some pronouncing problem, I was caught off guard by that for a second and then realized; wait a minute, here! I'm doing all I can to speak their language! So I decided to get my attention to the one that was laughing the hardest (and trying to encourage the others to join in on making fun of me) I called him to me and asked him to stand on the chair...I then (hmm still confused with "then" and "than" btw)...so I asked him to now explain to all of us why he was laughing at me and asked him politely to do it in Dutch for all of us. This made everyone laugh so hard and this guy felt very embarrassed. They haven't ridiculed me anymore from that moment on and listened and corrected me for the following hour :)
