I will show you how to put the game into DEVMODE and i will also include showing you how to put god mode on for you in your game experience for the original Far cry only works if you have the game through Steam

if you do all this and still can't get god mode to work by pressing backspace, then go into console command screen and type '#god=1'. that should work.

yeah didnt work for me either
I unlocked all the levels but none of the cheats work -
How to know when it works? I type backspace and it does nothing, checked the console and nothing either, Far Cry has 'DEVMODE on steam lauch options...

Did all the above many times and still does not work........
I am sorry to say that after almost a year I still cannot get it to work nor can I get past the last scene in BOAT................. So I guess I will not finish the game...... -

ABSOLUTELY unable to find the devmode file anywhere! there is no file called FarCry in prog files X86 to be found!

Zip nadda goose egg in -DEVMODE no cheats work. I press P get nothing. I press O get nothing. Backspace nothing. I edited under C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\FarCry
