Where is technology modifiers like in EU3?
-
turkey is like 120 years ahead of EU tech right now.. thats why they have the best military tech ever and becoming WSP
-
this game is so unaccurate... muslims should have decreased cost because they had better tech since 1056 till now (Turkey perhaps)
-
This needs an update for 'Rights of Man', as half of the info here will no longer apply.
-
Thanks, very simply explained, clear and informative video. Makes getting into a game as complex as EU4 a bit easier.
-
How to increase the level?
-
Is it worth it to upgrade from eastern tech group to western at the beginning of the game?
-
How can I get me some arumba memorabilia? I'm talking mugs, tshirts, mouse pads, stickers, figurines, hats, posters, and those neck pillow things.

Thanks for the guide video. I play as Bahmani, and had no idea how the technology works, I focused on the territory first, but have lots of expenses. To force my needs I need diplomatic power, for changing culture too, then administration for making cores, getting my stability up. At least Im good with big army, and Im still on + with money :D.

No chance to hear anything because of that loud music.

Oh a couple more tips. If you want maximum income, sink and don't make heavy ships. Just spam light ones. Heavies are obscenely expensive for early-game. Late-game, I'm not sure. Also, don't underestimate cavalry. Expensive, but also ridiculously powerful. Even the best managed economy can find war to be expensive, so keep an eye on finances. Careful what you sign. The enemy might want to cede only 1 or 2 provinces, when you could get 3 or 4 by getting a higher warscore.
-
Oh yeah, and make sure whoever you're focused on taking over at the time is your rival. The diplomacy menu has a rivals section that looks like 3 shields in a row. You can select up to three rivals at a time. This makes any captured provinces cost 33 diplomacy points, instead of 50 and gives extra rewards for any kills you make on them.
-
The last fourth is managing your budget. I do a lot of playing around with troop/naval morale to make maximum money while ensuring I have high morale troops during times when it's most important. Having higher trade power in your key trade nodes also helps (so spamming baroques and telling them to guard the Seville Trade Node as 1400's Spain isn't a bad idea, for example).
-
Basically, 1/4 of the game revolves around those three resources. Diplomacy, Administration and Military points. If you spend these, you can't level up your tech. 1/4 of the game revolves around politics and war score. The more claims you put on other provinces, the easier taking them over will be. The more of the enemy you kill, the higher your war score, and the more provinces he will cede to you. 1/4 is managing their rebels, culture, religion and core province status.

First time I playing Europa I was playing napoleon and shogun total war but this game diffirent them so thanx a lot
-
Im still supremely confused on how to play this game.,. honestly I need a play-by-play and more in-depth tutorial than is offered in the EU4 game itself. I just get lost and seriously overwhelmed every time I try to play a singleplayer game, even when I start out as Castille, France or the Ottomans--the 3 easy campaigns.

thanks

The biggest thing to rush is new ship types when you're close to them. Particularly if you're thinking it's about time to expand your fleet. No better time to do that than after unlocking the next level of ship.

Arumba, thank you for this outstanding EU tutorial video series. You really explained a lot of things about the game I would have missed for a long, long time and I appreciate the time you put in making such clear, detailed and well-planned videos. Again, thank you sir!
