mmh try'd changing my xp value on a new safe a few times.. cheat engine says it's changed but it will not show up in game. also i only get 1 value shown when i search for the changed value

I did all you did except i put the XP value on 99999 instead of 25000 but then i tried again with 25000 and it didn\t work.
