For a whole year I thought that the cheats were disabled in the BFG Edition, but today I found out that it's not exactly true. They are still present in the game, but you can't just type them like in the original DOS version. You have to use the console. First thing you have to do is make a shortcut for Doom3BFG.exe (you can find it in Steam/SteamApps/common/DOOM 3 BFG Edition), then you right-click the shortcut, click properties and in "Target" make space behind "...DOOM 3 BFG Edition\Doom3BFG.exe" and type +seta com_allowconsole 1. Or you can also right click the game in your Steam library, click Properties and then Set Launch Options and type the command there. The third way is you go to "...DOOM 3 BFG Edition\base\." and edit the "default.cfg". Here you add (best at the end of the file) IN A NEW COLUMN!! "seta com_allowconsole 1".This will enable the console in the game which you will open by pressing ~ . Not all the cheats are present though. The only cheats I've found working by far, are: IDQD - God Mode (originaly IDDQD, one D is missing, I don't know if they misspelled it or what) IDFA - All weapons, ammo and armor IDKFA - All weapons, ammo, armor and keys IDCLIP - No clipping IDCLEV # - Changes levels, where # means number of the level (In Doom 1 you have to type two numbers, first one for the episode and second one for the level and you have to make a space between them, so it's for example IDCLEV 1 6, which will take you to episode 1, map 6. In Doom 2 you just type the number of the level, for the first 9 levels you have to type 0 before the number, so for example IDCLEV 05 will take you to map05)
