Use only in non-steam CS. How to fix game crashes: 1. Reinstall the game and use clean counter strike 1.6 installation (I recommend digital zone release), not modded game like xtcs, ultimate, mw3 mod, etc. 2. Run ECC first as admin (right-click, run as administrator), then CS as admin too. 3. Disable anti-virus or add ECC to exception list (whitelist). 4. If you have Windows 8 try running CS in win xp compatibility mode (right-click the game, properties, compatibility, run this program..: win xp service pack 3).
