no need for tips and tricks
The game is made to greatly favor people who live in cities if you live anywhere else the most rare poke. you will usually find are Bellsprouts or maybe a Growlithe ever now and then. Other than that it is mostly Pidgy, the Nidorans, Spearow and the bugs.
I don't even think about how shitty spawning must be in more rural areas. -
