Fair play mind, that's the calmest I've ever seen Buck Showalter during an ejection...

Greg Gibson, the home plate umpire, would've let him stay in the game.

It is okay to use pine tar on bats for grip but not for the ball. the ball will soon be covered with dirt and grass because of the pine tar.
-
so he rubbed a little ben-gay on his arm!?! so what of it?
-
Man, two MLB pitchers thrown out for using pine tar in a week?! Pine tar must've been on sale..
-
I been watching baseball for 30 years , I still don't see after many discussions with professional baseball players and such for using tar, batters are allowed, pitchers should be able to , all it does is help w/ the grip , it's not steroids or anything like that. It doesn't speed a ball or anything like that. I was on the fence with it for a while , until I did a lot of research on it.
