just tried the 8 pounder for the first time without knowing what i was walking into, first one died of wounds and the 3 left all died of heart attacks because of death door, lost my best relics :S
-
I love how you summarized it: "Two big burly grandpas wandering the forest, trying to kill a cannon" :D
-
You called the Man At Arms a "grandpa." A guy who looks like he could be Slade Wilson's (aka "Deathstroke") ancestor. Wouldn't want to be you if he heard that. XD
-
Try it again, I dare you :)

Baer: "A magic skeleton. Just make it so that you have to have a key in your invetory that's reusable. That'd be interesting."

What he is saying: The more he delved into the dark rituals below, the more the townsfolk, being naturally suspicious and superstitious, began to believe he was up to something dark and evil, and rumors based on local legends began to spread.
We know the truth now, but that's not the point.
The townsfolk protested, and The Ancestor tried to buy them off.
When that didn't work he spent the gold on mercenaries and cracked down hard. They brought the cannons with them, and used them to put down a protest killing a lot of people.
Without a source of income and the spreading corruption, the mercenaries were consumed by lust for gold, robbing and pillaging, becoming the various brigands we fight in the game. Which also explains why you find them where ever they were stationed when on duty. -
Thats just it, you wanna DPS race bosses but not get bogged down in the dungeon itself.
-
it's actually a little saddening how lacking the balance seems to be with these character classes lol

What the narrator said:
Simple folks are, by their nature, loquacious, and the denizens of the hamlet were no exception. It was not long before rumours of my morbid genius and secretive excavations began to fill local legends. In the face of my increasingly egregious flaunting of public taboos, awe turned to ire, and demonstrations were held in the town square. -
Hey BAER a big THX from me for all the work you've done. I managed to watch and learn so much. I have very little time for playing it, so watching your runs was at least a bit of relief ;) PS: Your voice has a pleasant timbre, and your abusive lingo from time to time is down to earth & classic.

Important thing to note: You can go into the files of Darkest Dungeon, going to Campaign, Town, Buildings, Stage_coach and open the stage_coach building json. It opens with Notepad and can be edited.
You can change the size of your roster by editing the numbers in the lower section. Each line is a level of upgrade. So if you want more heroes, up it to 40 or 50.
At this point, it doesn't matter if you do it and more roster is more fun with how many legends you got.
