Arty Cheat or not?

2. Ive gotten real lucky guessing where arty might sit and have pulled off shots that people have suspected as cheating, playing as my arty. i did a calculated guess and fired, fully expecting a miss, but then the game says i killed enemy arty. I think ive nailed 8 different players on full blown guesses.
   I dont use any cheats... but have noticed on certain maps artys favorite places to sit when they have been spotted, ive kept mental notes, so when i play my arty i tend to pot shot those locations. Cant tell you how many times i got called a cheat when it has happened
3. You're joking right? I kill arty all the time with no spotting. You focus on where you think they might be, then when you see the shell tracer, you blow them up. Arty 101.
4. I have been called a hacker when running arty on na server, especially using my pzsfl4b. profile name is DanialB69 on na server to see my stats
5. I did play 6K games on arty and many times I did kill enemy arty which was not spotted. From the top view of the artillery you can see shells trace when arty shoot. After few games you will know where to point your arty. Somebody mention here in the posts that some artiest shot via hills ;) Not possible with any of the mods that you can cheat with the terrain model of the game. Bullet trajectory is computed on the server side based on the map stored on the server and kill is confirmed by server so no computation on the client computer ... no cheat in this place. I did receive many reports during game when I was playing my artillery Crusader 5.5-in. SP because this arty can shoot behind rocks and have very big loop of the shell. You can shoot from behind the rock and kill tanks hidden behind the rock. I have few videos on the arty in my channel. Take a look.
6. I have heard of 3 cheats. 1) tanks can use an indirect fire capability, thus lob one over a hill at u. 2) A mini map indicator of where last shots came from, even when you were not spotted, thus pinpointing your location for blind shots. And 3) aim bot.
   There will always be cheats, in all aspects of life so, being aware of it is good, but don't let it stop u from enjoying it. Still a good game.
   Also i have watched my own replay and saw my gun was pointing 30-40 deg.away from where the shoot actually went. Was strange, but definitely a glitch, because i don't use mods(on account of my computer processing isn't that great, and i'm worried about latency).

7. I was in a game about 6 weeks ago, I fired a shot, a few seconds later, lost half my health to a return shot. I moved, fired again, and moved right away. A few seconds later, a shell landed where I had been sitting, I warned the other two arty on my team, they ignored me. When one fired, boom, he died a few seconds later. The whole game, it was happening over and over. But the good thing at that point was, we kept moving, he he was shooting at ghosts, and not our team after that.

There were two games, I believe it was the same player in both games bc his stats were horrible, but yet even after relocating ever time i shot, he still hit me. There is some arty hack out there, but I dont have a need for it. Id rather lose playing fair than win cheating.

11. Its not uncommon for me to guess and hit someone. It happens. Also, if I don't move and just aim at your start area, I can see you knockin over trees and fences and judge where you might be going.

13. this was on best replays why was it on ther at all? was not very good as far as replays go and yeah seen he got hit the first time with out even firing his first shot of the game the enemy arty would have to have a spot on him to do that but to hit him 3 times every time in a different spot also on the killing blow the shot looked like kinda funny the tracer looked like it was coming in from where his friendly arty was at
14. The reload is a bug but that fv looks like he was hacking and also just before he got killed he didn't even fire so how could the enemy arty see his shell tracer?
15. Destronov, Is there some kind of spotting cheat? I've been in games where I was one shotted right off the bat. No, i'm not a bad player. Something is seriously wrong when you get one shotted right at the start.
16. dude really,redball is one of the most used cheatmods in wot,every 2. arty use it also normal tanks,but mostly arty of course.

17. Everything you're pinning off as "replay tampering" is just the replay being buggy. WoT Replays have always been known to do weird things, such as show dead crew members when there are none (or the opposite), camera angles and reload times being incorrect, etc. There are lots of things that go wrong in replays simply due to bugs but they are not tampered with.
    
    Names being blocked out are due to naming and shaming rules on the Forums, WG states that all player names must be blocked out aside from the person submitting it.
    
    As for "arty cheating", the arty were just too stupid to move after they shot... after the CGC fired his first shell, he sat there... anyone with half a brain looking at the arty corner of the map would see that and shoot there. It's the arty's fault for sitting in the same location, simply moving would have fixed the issue. When the CGC hit a second time, it's likely an enemy was driving by the A line trying to spot or flank town, and he got spotted.

    First we spot a kv-85 , is killed , shortly after the remaining tanks is desired except that one does not find them ... it 's pretty much all over the sides of the bit map except be online 9, and coincidentally they have a successful go to our base without one feels not realize ... cheat or not?
19. Enemy arty couldn't have used a cheat to hit him.
    He never fired from the position he was killed at, so no tracer or other such mods could be used to hit him.
    It's also impossible to use a cheat to find a player that has relocated after a shot, as the server does not provide them with the enemies location.
    
    The only explanation is that either the dead player lied when he said he had 6th sense and he was actually spotted the whole time.
    Or he edited the video to remove the parts where he fired before the enemy shot him.
    
    Either way, cheats can't do this
    The dead player is just lying :\
    
    Also it would be pretty hard to edit the encoded replay file, he probably just recorded it and edited the video
    
    Either way is is a whining kid who is trying to get other innocents in trouble :/
    
    (I'll give you credit for the mostly factual video on tracer mods though, however not all tracer mods are considered illegal by WG)
20. This is nothing, when you get 2 SPG-s killed like this in a clan wars final, that fuckes you up a bit. WG is openly encouraging cheating by doing nothing.
