Hello ladies and gentlemen, and welcome to anime theory, where I went through a whole 37 episode anime in a matter of a couple days. Today, we cover the ever-popular Death Note, and look into the possible actions of a certain end-anime character. I have a Twitter you can follow: https://twitter.com/CeeganS Check out this awesome 16 bit version of the Mirai Nikki opening from my into: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zbI0R5azxmc Dang it, that's the 5th pepperoni slice to fly away this week.

white people, White People?! WHITE PEOPLE! i hate white people
-
I hated the ending, why does everyone have to be so fruit like "ohhhh i dont like Light cause he went evil" why not let the bad character win for once.
-
Does it really matter if he cheated? It's not like the plot would be any different had he cheated. You're just guessing that he cheated anyways.

hands down one of the best animes ever. L>Near anyday

isnt it weird that theres basically a facility against people who have deathnotes in there hands? i mean im probably not right but its weird ive seen the whole anime and the ending just makes me sad that it had to end with "justice" i wanted the anime to end with complete mindfuck but the creator ran out of ideas which was ashame :( so many animes end with justice id perfer if there the main character run with it and let them win especially if there the bad guy but if there the good guy then its based on how the anime will go i know i sound like a whiney bitch but i really enjoyed the anime back then and i wanted kira to win and i wanted too see his "Perfect World" and then have him like commit suicide in the end or something because there were no more people to kill or something like that his mind shatters or something that wouldve been sick

He should've had Misa come not Mikami, they wouldn't have suspected it at all and would'nt have know there was 2 notes
-
Misa didn't die. She became the leader of a Kira Supporter group.

DID THE LIGHT BE A SHINIGAMI AFTER HE DIE ??
-
OK:, Light cannot be the 'new' or 'rock-star' Shinigami who appears in the Director's Cut. (The one who gives Ryuk the Shinigami apple and asks about the story.)The Death Note rules clearly point out: Any human who uses the DEATH NOTE cannot go to Heaven or Hell; they go to "MU" and it further explains that "MU" means [only one thing]: "Nothingness." But the place where Shinigami dwell is a place, a place with a name; The Shinigami Realm. If it's a place, then obviously it cannot be "nothingness."
Therefore, none of the users of the Death Note could be the "new" Shinigami that Ryuk tells the story to.
OK, sooo .... who the hell is it supposed to be!? Or do the creators just hate the fans, going out of their way to not be consistent at all? Since it's "the director's cut," but is in the anime format, should the basic rules of the anime be the rules? Grrr. I don' think that Near "cheats" -- I think the WRITERS do! -
freaking love the intro
-
I heard from some friends that Death Note was meant to have a second season, where Light came back as a Shinigami and handed out 7 death notes. Haven't checked if this is true or not though, just posting cuz I think it's cool.

didnt one of the rules say you can only control for a half hour up to their death?
-
2 min in didnt make any points yet
-
well if you use the notebook arnt you destined to not go to the afterlife of the show? and you go to nothingness? That could be a reason he wouldnt use it ....
-
he does show emotion, example is when they call the new killer after light "Kira" he gets mad and yells "stop calling him Kira its disrespectful to L and the real Kira" the reason light lost was because Mikami acted on his own using the death note
-
Can you smoke anime?
-
I wonder why Light didn't just dich the research team after the death of L? With L dead all Light would have to do was just tell them that since L was dead he didn't want to risk himself also getting killed.

Ending is just the worst
-
I agree, the ending kinda sucked. But i was entertained and shocked so many times, totally worth watching.

Theory was not presented well
