4. Well i did this and when i go to the game and go to the shop and i want to buy lights for the truck and the accessories arent there, can some one help me 
5. no "controls" file, but config
6. IF YOU DID EVERYTHING HE SAID BUT IT IS STILL NOT WORKING, THEN READ THIS COMMENT!
   
   Go to "My Documents/18 WoS Haulin" and you should see a "controls" file. Open it and find where it says:
   
   def grave {
                 command:"ui t console:system_02"
                 privileged:"true"
   
   Delete the "grave" part and type "key9"
   
   Save and exit the file. Start up 18 wheels of steel and press "9" instead of "~", and the console should come up. If this solved your problem then please like this comment! Thank you!

9. For those who can't open the control interface: I saw in this video that in the file this guy is using the code uset g_trackir "1". It's right between the two codes he changes. Check it out, if the trackir code is missing, put it in and watch how the control interface opens when you press ~
